Stay less than 30 minutes away from the HideOut at the Kirkwood Resort. You'll find everything from cozy studios to 8-bedroom luxury homes. Because our wedding is in the summer, these properties can be rented much cheaper than during peak winter hours.
If you contact Chris at Pyramid Peak Properties (530-600-2191, chris@pyramidpeakproperties.com) and mention the "Horton/Hale Wedding at The Hideout" you'll receive a 10% discount and be placed near other wedding guests.
We recommend families who'd rather not camp and those looking for a little more luxury to explore the different properties at this beautiful location.

Kit Carson Lodge
Kit Carson Lodge has a large selection of comfortable, rustic cabins and cottages, ranging from 2-person to 10-person. They all sit on Silver Lake, just a short drive to The HideOut. They also have basic 'hotel rooms' without kitchens, for even cheaper. There is also a restaurant, general store, and art gallery.
A great option for guests who are looking for quiet privacy; and those who may wish to spend more time in this beautiful area.
